Rooted in Respect, Built Around Family
We started Evershore because we saw how much was at stake when families had to navigate elder care without the right support beside them.
← Back to HomeHow Evershore Began
Evershore was established in Taipei in 2016 by a small group of care professionals who had spent years working within hospital discharge programmes and community health services. What they kept encountering was a gap — families who were deeply committed to their elderly relatives but found themselves overwhelmed, isolated, and unsure where to turn.
The name "Evershore" reflects the idea of a steady, reliable presence — like a shore that remains constant regardless of the tides. The team wanted to offer something that felt enduring and trustworthy, not transactional. From the beginning, continuity of caregiver relationships was a founding principle.
Today, Evershore serves families across Taipei and the greater metropolitan area. The team has grown carefully, prioritising values and temperament in hiring as much as technical qualifications. Every aide who joins completes a structured orientation and is matched thoughtfully with each client.
We remain a mid-sized, locally anchored organisation by choice. Growth has been steady and deliberate, driven by referrals from families who trusted us enough to recommend us to others.
Our Mission
To provide elderly individuals in Taiwan with professional, personalised in-home care that supports their independence, comfort, and sense of self — while relieving the families who love them of the burden of carrying it all alone.
Our Values
- Dignity above all. Every individual deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of their condition or level of dependency.
- Honest communication. Families are partners, not bystanders. We share what we see, clearly and without alarm.
- Consistency builds trust. Familiar faces and predictable routines reduce anxiety and improve quality of daily life for seniors.
- Quiet reliability. We show up, on time, prepared — so families do not have to wonder.

Structured Care Plans
Each client receives a written care plan following a home assessment. Plans are reviewed and updated whenever health or circumstances change.
Privacy & Discretion
All personal health and household information is handled with strict confidentiality. Aides sign comprehensive data protection agreements before placement.
Health Observation Protocols
Aides are trained to recognise and document changes in a client's physical condition, alerting coordinators and families promptly when anything warrants attention.
Ongoing Training
Aides participate in quarterly training sessions covering updated elder care techniques, dementia awareness, mobility support, and communication skills.
Responsive Coordination
A care coordinator is reachable during all service hours. For urgent matters, an escalation protocol ensures the right decision-maker is always available.
Professional Elderly Home Care in Taipei
Evershore operates in Taipei's Datong District and serves the wider metropolitan area. As Taiwan's population ages, the need for skilled, consistent in-home support has grown — and so has our understanding of what genuinely works for families in this context.
Our approach draws from both the practical frameworks of professional elder care and the cultural understanding that comes from working alongside Taiwanese families over many years. We recognise the significance of filial responsibility in this society, and we position ourselves as a resource that supports family caregivers — not one that replaces them.
Whether a family needs targeted weekend coverage, overnight support for a frail senior, or full-spectrum daily care, Evershore builds arrangements around the specific situation at hand. No two households are alike, and our assessments reflect that.
We remain committed to Taipei as our home base — a city where we understand the healthcare landscape, know the transport and logistics realities, and maintain relationships with local medical facilities. That local depth is something we consider a genuine strength.
